How does Air Get Polluted?

untitled

“Air pollution is usually a result of human activity. The main causes of human air pollution is from cars, waste disposal and industry. However air can also be polluted from natural processes, like volcanic activity which releases various pollutants like sulphur for example. Other natural pollutants include carbon monoxide and dioxide from wildfires, and radon from radioactive decay within the earths crust.
Crop dusting, fumigating homes, household cleaning products or painting supplies, over the counter insect/pest killers, fertilizer dust emit harmful chemicals into the air and cause pollution. In many case, when we use these chemicals at home or offices with no or little ventilation, we may fall ill if we breathe them.”
